We have seen a huge amount of kids wanting to play rugby league, and soccer. There are a number of clubs across the region. Magpies Sports Club is one of the biggest clubs in the region and has teams in rugby, soccer, cricket, and much more.
On the Magpies fields there can be up to 8 soccer matches running at the same time for boys and girls. It’s a great morning out supporting our local sports stars of the future. Soccer has become of the biggest sports activities for kids in the region during winter.
In summer, the best sport activities for kids has to be near the beach. It’s best not to enter the water unless it has been patrolled recently. In Eimeo, you often see kids learning surf life saving skills. You’ll also find SUP riders cruising along our waterways.
